Oh the shame!

So long since I have made a post to this blog! Huge apologies. I am going to go with the excuse that I have been nose deep into the books studying contract, tort and trusts. Believe it or not, up to you. Do have some small news to report and that is that I am off to the British Council this week to register for exams. Another couple hundred quid flying out of my pocket later this month when I pay the school. However the interesting and fun thing is that "I graduate next year". Haha what a great thing to be able to say. Would that it were 2013 already but to be fair let's try and squeeze as much out of 2012 as we can.

  1. Do you mind sharing how much you studied during your first year (hours per week)?

    Cheers

  2. Hi Jesper, I would imagine that if I am honest I probably studied about 10-14 hours a week during most of the year. I suppose I tried to get in on average about 2 hours per day, maybe a bit longer at the weekends but of course some days none got done at all. Numbers kicked into high gear of course in the last month or two, maybe twice that. Hope that helps!

  4. Dear Anonymous, thanks for the interest in the blog and I am glad that you find it of help. I am actually in my final year now and will sit my last exams (if all goes well) in May. I would like to try and advise but I must confess that I don't know what "UKT" means. Could you let me know? Cheers

  5. hey..thanks for taking the time to reply my message..UKT stands for UK Transfer program which means that i would study in my country for 2 years then finish my last year at UK. I'm not really sure which program is better. From what I heard from my seniors UOL is harder and the passing rate is lower. On top of that if I couldn't get at least a second lower degree for my UOL I couldn't join the bar and practice as a lawyer. That is my main worry. By the way, all the best for your coming exam in May and may you pass your exam with flying colours!! Thanks in advance!! cheers!!
